Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for lifting, loadding & transporting waste to and from waste collection sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a 3.5 tonn tipper truck. This is a full time role, Mon – Fri usual hours are from around 7am until 5pm. Some Saturdays are available.

Duties
• Operate a 3.5 tonn tipper truck to transport waste materials to designated locations.
• Ensure that all loads are cleared properly before transport. You will be lifting and loading waste as well as driving.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries using our waste collection software.
• Communicate effectively & politely with customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as necessary.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience
• A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this role, with experience in operating dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a flatbed driving role would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively are crucial for meeting delivery deadlines.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and maintenance is expected.
