Job Description

The University of Alaska is hiring Student Custodial Assistants to maintain campus buildings. Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, floor care, window and surface cleaning, restroom sanitation, and inventory management. Employees work under supervision, follow instructions, and ensure a safe, healthy environment. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, balancing, and other manual tasks. Applicants must be enrolled with at least six credits and a 2.0 GPA, able to follow written and verbal instructions, and pass a background check. Pay starts at $16.20/hour. The position is part-time, pooled, and applications are reviewed as needed.
