Job description

Local Class A Truck Driver

This local dedicated account delivers dry and refrigerated freight to one customer across Texas and Louisiana.

Dedicated account. No touch freight. MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT.
• Drivers typically run within a 500-mile radius
• 70% of Deliveries are to Houston (Local).
• We usually run multiple routes per day, which may require a 10 hour break on the road
• Employees must have personal transportation available for travel to and from the DC.

REQUIREMENTS:
• *Applicants MUST have a minimum of 3 full months solo Tractor Trailer driving experience in the last 36 months. The 3 months experience must be with no more than two carriers and driver can have no preventable CMV accidents during the 3 months

We will also accept the following for experience:
• 6-12 months OTR experience in the last 3 years with carriers less than 50 trucks/drivers. 3 carriers maximum
• 12 months safe OTR experience in the last 5 years. 4 carriers maximum.
• 24 months safe OTR experience in the last 10 years. 6 carriers maximum.
• 6 months local experience in the last 12 months
• 12 months local experience in the last 36 months
• All experience must be with trailers greater than 40 ft.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS ALL DOT RELATED SCREENINGS
• NO PRIOR SAFETY TERMS OR FAILED DT’S
• STABLE JOB HISTORY REQUIRED
