Key Duties
21st Century Personnel is seeking reliable local truck drivers to perform drop-and-hook deliveries to rail ramps and handle freight within a 250-mile radius of Lancaster, TX. Drivers will:
- Operate well-maintained, modern trucks for local deliveries.
- Work flexible shifts, including day and night schedules.
- Handle freight safely and efficiently while meeting company standards.
- Complete 1,000+ miles per week on average, with additional pay for stops and weekend/night work.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and ensure on-time delivery.
- Report for orientation and training as required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months of OTR experience within the last year, or 12 months solo OTR experience in the past five years.
- Must be 21 years or older and live within 50 miles of Lancaster.
- Good driving record (MVR) and background check compliance.
- Ability to pass all DOT pre-employment screenings.
- Demonstrated work history showing stability and reliability.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts (Tue–Sat or Sun–Thu) and perform daily home returns.
Pay & Benefits
- Weekly pay averaging $1,400–$1,600+ with 1,000+ miles per week.
- $20 per delivery stop and additional CPM for night and weekend shifts.
