Key Duties

As a Transportation Design Engineer, you will support transportation projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities include:

• Initiating and planning transportation design projects.

• Producing detailed construction documents for review.

• Designing roadways and highways in urban and rural environments for local agencies.

• Collaborating effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 4 years of experience in transportation design.

• Proficiency with Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation InRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• A strong understanding of project lifecycle management and effective communication skills.

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within 3–6 months.

• Experience in roundabout design is advantageous.
