Job DescriptionThe College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (CFOS) at UAF is hiring temporary staff for various roles in Fisheries, Oceanography, Marine Biology, and related areas. Duties include lab work, fieldwork, data collection, administrative support, and supply management. Some roles require travel, lifting, or driving UA vehicles. Successful candidates demonstrate professionalism, communication skills, sound judgment, and teamwork. Positions are hourly, temporary, and part of a pooled hiring system reviewed as needed throughout the academic year. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S., pass a background check, and have specialized education or experience relevant to the role.
