Key Duties

Alpine Academy LLC is seeking a dedicated Teacher to work with students with Autism, ages 5–22, utilizing a research-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) framework. Teachers at Alpine Academy are responsible for creating structured, individualized learning experiences that support each student’s growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and weekly lesson plans aligned with students’ goals.

  • Collecting and analyzing data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment.

  • Communicating effectively with parents, providing updates through daily logs, monthly meetings, and quarterly in-person conferences.

  • Collaborating with BCBAs, Curriculum Specialists, and school leadership to address student needs and behavioral challenges.

  • Training and supervising classroom instructors to ensure consistent application of ABA principles.

  • Participating in professional development and applying evidence-based strategies in the classroom.

  • Engaging in school events, occasional evenings, and weekend activities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two years’ experience teaching students with special needs; prior ABA experience preferred.

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and parents, maintain a positive attitude, and adapt to new strategies and methods.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Passion for supporting student growth and a commitment to providing high-quality educational services.
