Job overview

Zayed University, Abu Dhabi is seeking a part-time Switchboard Operator for a 3.5-month period. The role involves serving as the primary point of contact for all telephone inquiries, handling calls from internal and external clients in a professional and courteous manner. The operator will maintain and update the campus telephone directory, manage international telephone and fax transactions for faculty and staff, reconcile these with Etisalat invoices, and prepare reports for the Finance department to ensure accurate billing. Additional responsibilities include distributing incoming faxes and messages, typing documents in English or Arabic as required, and assisting in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Arabic and English and able to perform duties efficiently within the designated hours.
