Job description

Job Purpose
Supervise and coordinate the movement of passengers and materials in the field. Ensure safe, smooth and efficient methods of mobilizing movement of passengers and freight. Ensure optimization of logistical resources of fixed wing, helicopter and marine crew boats.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
• Verify and report on availability and safekeeping of purchased chemicals in local suppliers’ warehouses.
• Supervise the timely and safe transportation of accepted chemicals to Company main warehouse and/or specified delivery points in various operation locations.
• Provide adequate transport, supervise loading operation and inspect loads to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with Company safety procedures and applicable statutory regulations for safe transportation of inflammable and hazardous materials and items fabricated at local fabrication contractors’ facilities. Issue delivery notes, safety data sheet and advises receiving party at destination, as required.
