Key Duties

ESS Education is seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to support Charter Schools USA classrooms in the absence of regular teachers. The role ensures continuity of instruction, maintains classroom management, and follows established lesson plans. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering meaningful instruction according to the regular teacher’s lesson plans and curriculum objectives.

• Maintaining a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment for all students.

• Supporting student understanding and participation in all assigned subject areas.

• Observing and reporting student behavior, injuries, or illnesses to school administration promptly.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the school administration to support classroom and student needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• FDLE/FBI Criminal History Clearance.

• Ability to follow detailed lesson plans and maintain classroom routines.

• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage diverse classroom needs.

• Proof of education must be uploaded to the application.
