• Location: FOODLAND MARKETS – Lake June, Dallas, TX

Key Duties

• Maintain shelves, coolers, and displays by stocking and rotating merchandise to ensure freshness and availability.

• Assist in receiving deliveries, checking inventory against invoices, and verifying product quality and counts.

• Open, label, and price items accurately while keeping management informed of pricing issues.

• Support inventory control and handle damaged or expired products according to store policy.

• Keep work areas clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and proper disposal of trash.

• Provide courteous assistance to customers, helping retrieve items and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

• Follow company safety and security policies, monitor cash handling, and report any irregularities.

• Assist in training team members and cross-functional duties, including cashiering and customer service.

Requirements

• High school education preferred but not mandatory.

• Basic math skills to handle transactions, calculate discounts, and balance inventory records.

• Strong communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and management effectively.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 100 pounds, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.

• Ability to work in refrigerated and temperature-controlled areas and tolerate moderate exposure to dust or cleaning agents.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions while maintaining high standards of accuracy, cleanliness, and safety.
