Job description

• Conduct dental examinations and assessments of children to evaluate their oral health and identify any abnormalities or potential issues.
• Provide preventive dental care, including cleaning, fluoride treatments, and sealants, to help children maintain healthy teeth and gums.
• Diagnose and treat dental problems such as cavities, tooth decay, and gum diseases in children using appropriate techniques and procedures.
• Perform dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and space maintainers, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
• Monitor and track the growth and development of children’s teeth and jaws, identifying any discrepancies or abnormalities that may require orthodontic intervention.
• Educate children and their parents or guardians on proper oral hygiene practices and dietary habits to prevent dental issues and promote overall health.
• Collaborate closely with other dental professionals and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
• Manage and alleviate children’s anxiety and fear associated with dental visits using child-friendly approaches and techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including dental history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuous education and professional development.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other dental team members.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a friendly and comforting environment for young patients.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to diagnose and address dental issues in children.
• Manual dexterity and precision to perform dental procedures in small, delicate mouths.
• Knowledge of child behavior management techniques to handle anxious or uncooperative children.
• Attention to detail to accurately assess and document dental conditions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Strong organization and time management skills to handle multiple patients and tasks efficiently.
• Solid understanding of dental equipment and instruments used in pediatric dentistry.
• Awareness of infection control protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
