Job Title: SOC Analyst L2 – DubaiLocation: Dubai – United Arab EmiratesWork Type: On-siteWork Specification: Full-timeAvailability: ImmediateExperience Required: 2-5 yearsJob Description:As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst L2 at Cybershelter, you will play a critical role in defending our organization’s information systems from cyber threats. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to protect our digital assets. Working in collaboration with a team of security experts, you will ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our data.Key Responsibilities:Incident Response: Respond to security incidents and alerts, performing thorough investigations and root cause analysis.Threat Analysis: Analyze and interpret security threats and vulnerabilities to determine their impact and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.Monitoring: Continuously monitor security events from multiple sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security tools.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of security incidents, including detection, response, and resolution activities.Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, security architects, and other stakeholders to implement security improvements.Compliance: Ensure compliance with established security policies, procedures, and standards.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a SOC environment or related cybersecurity role.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency in using security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify anomalies and patterns.Preferred Skills:Experience with threat hunting and advanced threat detection techniques.Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.Knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies.Why Join Us?At Cybershelter, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
