Key Duties

As a Server at The Standard Hotels, you will play a key role in creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. This position requires excellent service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and organizing dining areas, service stations, and bar stations.
• Greeting guests warmly and ensuring attentive, high-quality service throughout their visit.
• Presenting and describing menu items, drinks, and wine selections as trained.
• Processing food and beverage orders efficiently using the POS system.
• Handling guest payments accurately and following cash handling procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance with service standards.
• Completing side work and closing duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering procedures.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and drink recipes is an advantage.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to hygiene standards.
