Key Duties

Servers at Duffy’s Sports Grill are responsible for delivering an excellent dining experience through attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and escorting guests to tables, presenting menus, and reviewing the MVP loyalty program.
• Explaining menu items, answering questions, and suggesting items to enhance guests’ dining experience and increase check averages.
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders, entering them into the POS system, and verifying orders with guests.
• Monitoring guest satisfaction throughout the visit and promptly resolving any issues.
• Checking IDs to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcoholic beverages.
• Handling payments, clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with to-go orders or reservations.
• Performing routine cleaning and stocking tasks, including tidying server stations, refilling condiments, and maintaining service areas.
• Encouraging guests to leave reviews and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor with both customers and coworkers.
