This critical role involves developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive quality assurance systems and processes to ensure products consistently meet rigorous standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Establish and oversee quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process, from raw material inspection to finished product validation. Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Lead root cause analysis investigations for product defects and non-conformances, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Develop and manage quality-related documentation, including inspection plans, test procedures, and quality reports. Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality is embedded in all stages of the product lifecycle. Monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators, providing regular reports to senior management. Train and mentor production staff and junior QA personnel on quality principles and procedures. Manage customer feedback and complaints related to product quality, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution. Stay current with industry best practices in quality assurance and relevant regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase customer satisfaction. Facilitate external audits by customers or regulatory bodies.
