We have a great opportunity for a motivated individual to come and work in our team of neuro specialist AHPs and support staff. Our patients are at the centre of the service that we provide. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and managerial skills with the support of senior staff and the MDT. Our patients present with a host of neurological deficits. We are looking for a motivated, engaging occupational therapist to come and join our team and help our patients to achieve their goals. Our stroke services are highly regarded, and you will have the opportunity to develop a working understanding of the stroke pathway and help shape improvements at a local level.If you think you have the skill set for this post, we would very much welcome your application.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary team you will provide a high standard of occupational therapy input to patients with a variety of neurological and complex conditions.Our service is committed to providing a 7 day service for our patients. Our team leads design the rotas in collaboration with staff to ensure that a fair and flexible approach in allocating shifts is applied.You will have the opportunity to gain experience in:o Hyper-acute Stroke Careo Acute Strokeo Neurological OutliersExperience as a Band 5 in Stroke or Neurology is essential.You will be supported in this role by a strong multidisciplinary team and work in close collaboration with a friendly and innovative therapies department.You will be responsible for supervising staff in the team.
