Key Duties

As a Seasonal Worker at Thorntons, you will ensure a positive guest experience and support store operations. Responsibilities include:

• Providing courteous, prompt service while looking for opportunities to delight guests.

• Operating cash registers, handling sales, lottery, money orders, and ensuring accurate transactions.

• Maintaining fully stocked and organized store shelves, coolers, displays, and high-margin products like coffee and fountain drinks.

• Cleaning and maintaining equipment, store floors, windows, counters, restrooms, and surrounding grounds.

• Assisting with store inventory and monitoring PAR levels to meet operational standards.

• Supporting store management with reporting sales, cash, or operational discrepancies.

• Following company policies, safety procedures, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Engaging guests using suggestive selling techniques and promoting the Refreshing Rewards program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Strong guest service skills with high energy and a team-oriented mindset.

• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Ability to safely perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, lifting, and maintaining equipment.

• Willingness to follow Thorntons policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols.

• Experience is not required; all backgrounds considered.
