Route Sales Driver

Job Summary of Route Sales Driver:

At The Chefs’ Warehouse, there is a significant emphasis on accurately and promptly delivering premium food products to clients. Successful performance in this role requires strong organizational skills, a clean driving background, and the ability to manage the physical aspects of loading and unloading deliveries.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Route Sales Driver:
• Verify that the stock availability corresponds to the delivery standards.
• Adhere to assigned delivery paths by employing maps or GPS navigation aids.
• Load and arrange goods from the warehouse into the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure that goods reach designated destinations promptly and accurately.
• Verify that deliveries have been successfully received by obtaining signatures or settling payments as needed.
• Regularly check in with the warehouse to stay informed about the status of deliveries.
• Finalize the delivery process by organizing and filing paperwork at the end of your shift.
• Ensure that supervisors are alerted to any problems or incidents involving vehicles.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols specified by the organization.
