Key Duties

Gainesville Christian Preparatory School is seeking a dedicated Reading Teacher to inspire and educate students in a nurturing, Christian-based environment. The Reading Teacher will:

• Plan and deliver engaging reading instruction tailored to individual student needs.

• Implement curriculum that supports literacy development across multiple grade levels.

• Foster a positive classroom environment grounded in Christian values, encouraging both academic and personal growth.

• Track student progress through assessments and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and administration.

• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.

• Support school events, activities, and additional duties as assigned to enrich the student experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; teaching experience preferred.

• Must align with the school’s Christian values and mission.

• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.

• Punctual, self-motivated, honest, loyal, and capable of maintaining high integrity.

• Ability to approach teaching with enthusiasm, adaptability, and a willingness to go above and beyond.
