Job Description

The State of Alaska is hiring field officers to enforce laws, perform technical inspections, and maintain mobile facilities and equipment in remote locations. Duties include vessel and off-road vehicle maintenance, operating boats over 24 feet, using hazardous equipment, and setting up camps independently. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Alaska driver’s license, and pass a physical exam and background check. Ability to lift 70 pounds over uneven surfaces is required. Experience in patrol, fish/wildlife management, commercial fishing, or guiding is preferred. Positions include health insurance, retirement benefits, paid leave, and holidays.
