Job description

• Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
• Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project
• Ensuring that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
• Reporting regularly on progress to the company and stakeholders
• Coordinating market and customer research
• Resolving any issues or delays
• Demonstrating knowledge of all areas of construction
• Writing bids for tender
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
• Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Manage costs in order to meet budget
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, workers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
• Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
