Reporting to the Manager, Construction & Commissioning, Strategy, this position will manage Resource Coordination to support of successful execution of Canada Gas Projects and Vendor Surveillance at Manufacturing shops.
· Administering contracts and documentation and ensuring compliance with the third-party inspection provider master service agreement and associated company tools (i.e. Fieldglass and ISN)
· Monitoring compliance in terms of training and certification of the resources being assigned to projects
· Ensuring project-specific training requirements comply with the jurisdictions in which the projects take place
· Managing client relationships and expectations through effective communication
· Managing third-party provider relations and performance expectations, and monitoring outcomes
· Acting as a point of contact for construction managers and inspectors for general inquiries, e.g., contract details and project parameters
· Supporting business reviews with client groups, Supply Chain and CM&I managers
· Completing all documentation to the required detail and within expected timeframes
· Working with client groups and Supply Chain to ensure contracts are effective and managed in a timely manner
· Assisting in the process of selecting inspection, construction management and field clerk resources by identifying skill requirements and liaising with the project managers to obtain the personnel resources required
· Developing and maintaining relationships between third-party providers and internal stakeholders to acquire the required qualified resources
· Collaborating with peers and members of the construction management team to ensure effective use of construction management and inspection resources
· Assisting in developing a third-party inspection resource strategy with key stakeholders and attending routinely scheduled key stakeholder group’s team meetings
· Providing resource forecasts to monitor trends and plan for future talent demands
· Leading the development, coordination and implementation of a resource plan for pipeline and facilities construction and pipe maintenance activities for all programs
· Negotiating such things as start dates, resource availability and leveraging talent between projects
· Influencing the selection of talent to ensure the company maximizes resources for project success
· Assisting the project managers with scheduling and potential schedule changes for construction management and inspection resources
· Providing bi-weekly and/or monthly updates to the CM&I managers and client groups and a resource schedule that effectively facilitates resource coordination to support construction and maintenance projects
· Ensuring new project managers and construction managers are onboarded using the resource coordination processes
· Making periodic site visits and/or project onboarding and lessons learned
· Working with training coordinators to ensure employees and contracted resources complete all of the training required by the CM&I Training and Responsibilities Standard

5- 8 years of Project Coordinating experience
Degree/Diploma from an Engineering discipline
