Key Duties

The Production Specialist will serve as part of the Multimedia Services Team in FWC’s Office of Communications, supporting the agency’s outreach efforts through creative media production. Responsibilities include:

  • Producing and editing video, photography, graphics, and other digital content for public communication and education initiatives

  • Serving as audiovisual technician during commission meetings, outreach activities, and internal events

  • Assisting with planning and coordination of media projects, including scheduling and on-site support for photo and video shoots

  • Maintaining multimedia equipment and supporting procurement transactions in compliance with state purchasing requirements

  • Managing administrative tasks such as email and calendar coordination

  • Promoting positive public engagement with FWC’s mission and programs

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least one year of professional experience in audiovisual or digital media communications, or completion of relevant vocational/technical training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in media communications, or an associate’s degree in visual communication, film, or digital media studies

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Final Cut Pro X

  • Experience with videography, photography, and AV equipment setup and operation

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners
