Job description

• Provide age-appropriate academic instruction, homework supervision, and educational enrichment for a 6yr old boy.
• Support and encourage children’s intellectual, emotional, and social development.
• Design and follow a structured daily routine, including study time, educational outings, and cultural exposure.
• Assist with language development and tutoring in specific subjects, if needed.
• Collaborate with parents and/or tutors to ensure a consistent educational environment.
• Promote manners, etiquette, and good behavior at all times.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children in all settings.
• Accompany the family on travel if required.
• Maintain records of progress and provide regular updates to parents.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (governess, teacher, or private tutor).
• Native English – bilingual/multilingual a plus.
• Strong command of grammar, mathematics, and/or sciences (as applicable).
• Professional demeanor and high level of discretion.
• Willingness to travel with the family (if required).
• Clean background checks and references.
• Candidates from South Africa, Ireland, Great Britain are preferrable.
