Salary Range: $78,700 – $118,100 annually
As a Principal Employee Communications Representative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering communications that inspire employees and align with Northrop Grumman’s business priorities. Responsibilities include:

Designing and executing communications strategies across the Aeronautics Systems sector, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide goals

Crafting engaging content in multiple formats, including articles, videos, interviews, infographics, and executive announcements
-
Advising executives on messaging, talking points, speeches, and scripts to ensure clarity and impact
-
Managing internal communications channels such as newsletters, websites, and digital signage
-
Supporting event planning, content creation, and logistics for employee engagement initiatives
-
Measuring the effectiveness of communications campaigns using analytics and making data-driven improvements
-
Partnering with enterprise communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding
-
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field with at least 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience

Proven experience in employee or executive communications and storytelling

Strong writing, editing, and content development skills, with proficiency in AP style
-
Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and provide communications counsel to leaders

Preferred: Experience in omni-channel editorial content production and crisis communications
