The Role & Responsibilities

Create engaging lesson plans based on age-appropriate learning objectives that help children develop literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Facilitate hands-on learning through storytelling, games, arts, and outdoor activities that stimulate imagination and critical thinking.

Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom by observing each child’s emotional and physical well-being and encouraging respectful behavior.

Communicate with parents to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on strategies for continued development at home.

Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to contribute to school events, curriculum improvements, and professional development activities.
What We’re Looking For

A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is a plus).

A patient, cheerful, and compassionate personality who genuinely enjoys working with young children.

Creativity in teaching methods and the ability to adapt to the needs and learning styles of individual students.

Prior experience in a preschool or kindergarten setting is preferred but not mandatory if you have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
