• Reports To: School Principal

Key Duties

As a Part-Time Teacher at Pinellas County Schools, you will provide focused instruction to students in accordance with district curriculum and standards. Core responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality lessons in a classroom environment tailored to students’ learning needs.

• Utilizing instructional strategies that engage students and promote comprehension and skill development.

• Supporting student progress through ongoing observation and informal assessment.

• Maintaining accurate records of attendance, assignments, and student performance.

• Collaborating with school staff and administration to ensure a consistent and positive learning environment.

• Upholding district policies and contributing to a safe, respectful, and nurturing classroom culture.

Requirements

• Current Florida K-6 teaching certification with Reading Endorsement.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with students, staff, and parents.

• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

• Commitment to maintaining a professional and organized classroom environment.

Pay & Benefits

• $24.00/hour for part-time, temporary assignment.

• Flexible schedule: 4 hours per day, Monday–Friday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
