The Role & Responsibilities
As a Female Support Worker, you will offer practical and emotional support to individuals in supported living or residential services across Kent. Each day will involve a blend of household assistance, personal care, and community-based activities – always with the individual’s interests and goals at the centre.
Daily Support Duties

Deliver Person-Centred Care
Provide personalised support based on individual care plans, helping with daily routines such as getting ready, meal preparation, and medication prompts. -
Promote Independence
Encourage individuals to develop life skills such as cooking, budgeting, or using public transport – empowering them to make their own choices. -
Support with Personal Care
Assist sensitively with bathing, dressing, grooming or other personal needs, always with dignity and respect.
Community and Social Inclusion

Support individuals in accessing community activities, hobbies, shopping trips or exercise – all tailored to their interests. -
Build Positive Relationships
Create meaningful connections with the people you support, celebrating their achievements and boosting confidence.
Communication and Coordination

Work closely with social care professionals, families, and team members to provide consistent, high-quality support. -
Maintain Records

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience in Care (Preferred but Not Essential)
Previous experience in support work or care is an advantage, but Aspirations welcomes applicants with the right attitude—full training is provided. -
Caring and Respectful Attitude
