• Pay: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour

Key Duties

The After-School Activities Assistant plays a vital role in supporting Alcuin School’s After School Activities (ASA) program, which serves students from Primary Extended Day through 6th grade. Main responsibilities include:

• Supervising students during after-school hours and ensuring safe transitions between activities.

• Escorting students to designated programs, extended care, or carpool as scheduled.

• Assisting with snack distribution, classroom/space cleanup, and activity setup.

• Supporting instructors with student engagement and behavior management.

• Monitoring student safety, reporting incidents, and maintaining professional communication with parents and staff.

• Helping with carpool procedures to ensure organized and safe dismissals.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 with valid authorization to work in the U.S.

• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

• CPR/First Aid certification required.

• Prior experience working with children in schools, camps, or recreational programs preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, with the ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, or reaching.

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly pay between $23.00 – $24.00.
