Key Duties

As a Park Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in keeping County parks and facilities in excellent condition. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining landscaped areas, turf, and irrigation systems.

• Performing minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general construction.

• Ensuring cleanliness and safety of facilities, including restrooms and common areas.

• Collecting trash, managing debris, and maintaining a safe environment for park visitors.

• Operating County vehicles, hand tools, and power equipment for maintenance tasks.

• Supporting special events and assisting with park-related projects as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending, climbing, and other manual tasks.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Strong attention to safety and detail, with the ability to interact professionally with the public and team members.

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly pay of $20.00.

• Part-time schedule averaging up to 25 hours per week.

About the Role

This position reports to Bear Creek and focuses on maintaining Central District Park properties. It offers hands-on experience with a variety of maintenance tasks and the chance to work outdoors while supporting the community’s recreational spaces.
