Key DutiesAs a Park Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in keeping County parks and facilities in excellent condition. Responsibilities include:

Maintaining landscaped areas, turf, and irrigation systems.

Performing minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general construction.

Ensuring cleanliness and safety of facilities, including restrooms and common areas.

Collecting trash, managing debris, and maintaining a safe environment for park visitors.

Operating County vehicles, hand tools, and power equipment for maintenance tasks.

Supporting special events and assisting with park-related projects as needed.

Must be at least 18 years old.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending, climbing, and other manual tasks.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Strong attention to safety and detail, with the ability to interact professionally with the public and team members.

Hourly pay of $20.00.

Part-time schedule averaging up to 25 hours per week.

This position reports to Bear Creek and focuses on maintaining Central District Park properties. It offers hands-on experience with a variety of maintenance tasks and the chance to work outdoors while supporting the community’s recreational spaces.
