The Packaging Operator at New Generation Wellness plays a vital role in ensuring that our products are accurately packaged and meet quality standards. This position involves hands-on work in a manufacturing environment while following established procedures to maintain product safety and compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating packaging equipment and following batch records, GMPs, and standard operating procedures.
- Preparing, disassembling, and reassembling equipment as needed for production processes.
- Accurately performing basic math calculations for production purposes.
- Monitoring operations and reporting any issues to supervisors to ensure smooth production.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workflow.
- Performing repetitive tasks while adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
- Handling materials safely, including lifting up to 50 pounds and using ladders or other equipment when required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to operate a calculator.
- Capability to work in a team-oriented environment and support operational goals.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting heavy items repeatedly.
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
