Key Duties

As a Packaging Operator, you will be an important part of the production process, ensuring that products are packaged accurately and safely according to company and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining packaging equipment in compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Performing accurate measurements and following batch records.
• Assembling, disassembling, and cleaning machinery as required.
• Monitoring quality, labeling, and packaging to ensure product consistency.
• Maintaining safety standards and reporting any equipment or process issues.
• Collaborating with team members to support smooth production flow.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: No prior experience required; training provided.
• Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and following safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment.
• Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Visual ability to monitor labels, packaging, and safety indicators.
• Must be able to work in a production setting with PPE (lab coat, gloves, hair/beard nets, safety glasses, and closed-toe shoes).
