Key Duties

Swift Transportation is seeking experienced OTR Truck Drivers for its Houston, TX terminal. This role offers coast-to-coast opportunities with a variety of freight options and competitive earning potential. As an OTR driver, you will:

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely across regional and national routes.
• Manage freight delivery schedules, ensuring on-time arrivals and pickups.
• Accurately log miles, maintain electronic logs, and follow DOT compliance guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate trips and handle any route issues.
• Maintain vehicle inspections and ensure freight security throughout transport.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a valid CDL-A license with DOT medical certification.
• Minimum of 6 months verifiable OTR driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations involving drugs or alcohol.
• Ability to handle long-haul trips and extended periods on the road.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a professional attitude.
