Key Duties
Hunt Transportation is seeking experienced OTR Flatbed Truck Drivers to join our national 14-day fleet. Drivers in this role will:
- Operate flatbed trucks safely across long-haul national routes.
- Handle cargo securely, following proper loading and tarping procedures.
- Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Complete accurate logs and reports for each trip.
Drivers on this fleet enjoy consistent routes, structured schedules, and professional support while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with relevant flatbed experience.
- Proven safe driving record with no recent major violations.
- Ability to work long hours on the road, including extended periods away from home.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and professional conduct.
- Physically capable of handling flatbed loads, including tarping and securing cargo.
Preferred: Prior OTR or national fleet experience is highly valued but not mandatory.
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $0.65 – $0.68 per practical mile, with the top 50% of drivers earning over $93,000 annually.
- Average weekly pay: $1,795.
- Paid orientation to ensure drivers are fully prepared.
