Swietelsky UK, a leader in railway engineering, are looking for competent OTM Driver Operators to undertake work on a new contract, specialising in highly mechanised ballast cleaning activities. If you’re ready for a career where no two days are the same and offers plenty of flexibility, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Drive and Operate the 09-3X Dynamic and/or USP 5000 Regulator on track to deliver on contract requirements
• Perform daily maintenance checks and daily housekeeping/cleaning/fuelling of the machine to ensure smooth operations in the field
• Willingness to route learn/refresh competencies to meet the requirements of the business
• Work on a rotating roster, including travel and overnight stays as needed to meet project demands
• Completion and return of all associated documentation including but not limited to- Phires/DWR forms/log books/machine databases
• Advise control of all deviation to planned works
• Full clean, UK recognised driving license
• Ensure Lifesaving rules and ROGS adhered to and other applicable standards
• Retain required competencies stipulated by ROGS (The Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006) and other applicable standards
