Key Duties

As an Orlando TEFL Tutor, you will provide personalized English language instruction to learners of varying levels. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions tailored to students’ individual needs and learning styles.

• Adapting lesson plans to meet each student’s goals, using creative approaches to enhance engagement and comprehension.

• Leveraging Varsity Tutors’ Live Learning Platform and AI-powered Tutor Copilot to deliver interactive and effective instruction.

• Supporting students through both scheduled sessions and on-demand instant tutoring requests.

• Monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adjusting instructional strategies to maximize outcomes.

• Collaborating with students to build confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English as a foreign language.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style.

• TEFL expertise, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.

• Experience in tutoring or classroom teaching is highly preferred.

• Ability to personalize instruction and adapt lessons to different learning styles.

• Graduate-level education is a plus but not mandatory.

• Eligible to work in the U.S. (excluding Alaska, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Puerto Rico).

Pay & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $18 to $40 per hour, with higher rates for repeat sessions with the same student.
