Key Duties
I.T. Matters, Inc. is seeking a skilled Onsite MSP Technical Support professional (Levels I-III) to provide comprehensive IT support across multiple client sites in the Houston area. This role focuses on delivering high-quality technical assistance and maintaining smooth IT operations for small and medium-sized businesses.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Manage Active Directory tasks including password resets, authentication issues, and Group Policy troubleshooting.
- Provide application support, diagnosing software issues, liaising with vendors, and delivering advanced user assistance.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS errors, determine formatting or reimaging requirements, and handle hardware issues, including warranty identification.
- Conduct onboarding and offboarding of users, configuring workstations according to company standards.
- Resolve printer and email issues, including network, driver, server, and security-related problems.
- Interact directly with clients to address technical needs and provide clear updates on incidents.
- Collaborate effectively with the support team and improve existing processes by maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of IT experience, particularly with Windows desktops and servers.
- Knowledge of MSP tools such as ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, I.T. Glue, or equivalents; experience with Datto is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft core business applications and virtual environments using Hyper-V, VMware, or other virtualization platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to guide clients and junior team members.
- Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and current car insurance.
- Ability to travel to client sites across Houston as needed.
