Key Duties

As a Network Engineer Intern, you will support the planning, deployment, and maintenance of secure network systems. You will collaborate with senior engineers on network design, troubleshooting, and optimization for a range of advanced platforms. Your responsibilities will include assisting with:

• Configuring and testing network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Monitoring network performance and assisting in diagnosing connectivity or performance issues.

• Supporting the implementation of network security measures, including access control and monitoring tools.

• Documenting network configurations, procedures, and test results.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions into larger systems.

• Participating in projects that enhance network reliability, efficiency, and security.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and security protocols.

• Familiarity with network diagnostic tools and monitoring software.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly in a technical environment.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting technical work.

• U.S. work authorization required for internship participation.
