Key Duties

Children’s Hospital Colorado is seeking a Manager of Payment Transformation to lead initiatives that enhance the hospital’s reimbursement strategies. The role focuses on developing and implementing innovative approaches to payment transformation, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, organizational objectives, and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading payment transformation projects and initiatives across the organization.
  • Collaborating with Revenue Cycle, Finance, and other internal departments to analyze reimbursement trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing strategies to maintain competitive reimbursement and optimize revenue performance.
  • Supporting the implementation of changes in payment models, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the success of payment transformation initiatives, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Serving as a subject-matter expert on reimbursement methodologies and payment reform strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, ideally within hospitals or health systems.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing payment transformation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement methodologies, payment models, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to lead complex projects across multiple departments.
