The Role & Responsibilities
As an Accounts Semi Senior or Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accounting and advisory services to a portfolio of clients. This is an opportunity to build trusted relationships, develop technical expertise, and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Core Responsibilities
Preparation of Financial Statements
Prepare accurate year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. This involves ensuring compliance with statutory regulations while providing insight into financial performance.
Client Advisory and Relationship Management
Work closely with clients to understand their businesses, answer queries, and provide timely advice. This may include tax planning, cash flow forecasting, and recommendations for financial efficiency.
Management Accounts and Bookkeeping Oversight
Support clients with monthly or quarterly management accounts and oversee bookkeeping tasks. By doing so, you’ll help clients make better-informed business decisions.
Tax Compliance
Assist with VAT returns, corporation tax computations, and personal tax filings. Ensuring deadlines are met and opportunities for tax efficiency are identified is a vital aspect of the role.
Audit Support (where applicable)
Participate in small to medium audits, contributing to planning, fieldwork, and reporting stages. This responsibility varies depending on client requirements and your level of experience.
Mentorship and Team Support

Qualifications & Experience
