Key Duties
E-Transport Carriers is seeking Local CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our team in Bellaire, TX. Drivers will be responsible for:
- Operating dry van or flatbed trucks safely to deliver goods locally.
- Managing deliveries efficiently while ensuring adherence to safety and company policies.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles.
- Utilizing fuel cards and company resources to optimize routes and reduce costs.
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and clients to ensure timely service.
This position allows drivers to exercise flexibility in dispatch and route planning, providing control over earnings and work-life balance.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license and a clean driving record.
- Experience with local deliveries preferred; owner-operators encouraged to apply.
- Ability to operate dry van and flatbed trucks safely.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Commitment to professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle records.
