Security Guard (Part-Time Casual)

Company: Xpera / Emergency Security Management (ESM)

Location: Primarily within the GTA

Hourly Rate: $17.20-$19.00/hr **dependant on assignment type

Role Summary

We’re seeking experienced, licensed Security Guards in the Greater Toronto and Golden Horseshoe Area area to join our team immediately. As a Security Guard, you will:
• Control access to sites and monitor entry/exit points
• Conduct regular patrols
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and premises
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent our company professionally
• Maintain compliance with provincial and federal regulations
• Protect assets against theft, fire, and other safety risks
• Monitor client traffic and identify high-risk individuals
• Take appropriate action to deter individuals involved in disruptive behavior
• Undertake site-specific training and follow supervisor directions
• Keep accurate records and complete detailed incident reports
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of security experience (preferred)
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• At least 19 years of age
• Smart phone with data capabilities
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Valid driver’s licence with reliable vehicle access (preferred)
• Clean criminal record

Schedule
• Shifts include day, night, and on-call rotations
