Job Description

Position: Support Worker
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
Client: Walsingham Support
Type: Temporary / Permanent
Hours: Day shifts with sleep-in (08:00–20:00, 07:00–10:30)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support an adult with learning disabilities on a 2:1 basis

• Assist with independent living at home and in the community

• Provide help during challenging or fearful situations

• Work collaboratively with care teams to ensure quality support

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months UK experience supporting adults with learning disabilities

• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)

• Enhanced DBS on update service

• CSTF Mandatory Practical Training Certificate (within 12 months)

• References covering last 3 years
