The Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Content Creator to join our team in Galle. Your mission will be to capture the soul of our brand through compelling photos and videos. You will be our on-site visual storyteller, showing the world the magic, artistry, and heart behind every Calora piece. This is a unique opportunity to grow your skills and build a stunning portfolio with a premium brand.
What You’ll Do:
• Conceptualize, shoot, and create engaging short-form videos (Instagram Reels, etc.) showcasing our jewelry, the making-of process, and our brand story.
• Capture high-quality, authentic photographs of our jewelry, including product shots and lifestyle images that align with our brand aesthetic.
• Be present on-site at our Galle workshop to capture real-time, behind-the-scenes moments.
• Collaborate with our founder and design team to brainstorm fresh and creative content ideas.
• Assist in maintaining a consistent and beautiful brand identity across our social media platforms.
What We’re Looking For:
• A strong passion for visual storytelling, with a portfolio or examples of your photography and/or videography work.
• Familiarity and proficiency in creating content for social media platforms, especially Instagram.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English are mandatory.
• A proactive, reliable, and creative individual who is eager to learn and contribute.
• Ability to work on-site in Galle. Punctuality for daily site visits is essential.
• A major plus: Experience with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, CapCut, VN Editor, etc.).
