Key Duties

HCB Mechanical Inc. is seeking an experienced Journeyperson Plumber with 4–8 years of commercial plumbing experience to lead projects onsite. The ideal candidate will manage plumbing tasks efficiently, ensure quality workmanship, and coordinate with other team members on commercial projects throughout Houston and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading plumbing projects onsite and supervising work to ensure standards are met.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems according to specifications.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Performing troubleshooting and repair of plumbing issues with attention to safety and compliance.
• Coordinating with team members and providing guidance to less experienced staff.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and materials to ensure productivity and safety.
• Communicating effectively with clients and project managers regarding job progress and any challenges.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Journeyman Plumber certification or equivalent.
• Ability to lead and manage jobs onsite.
• Own transportation and plumbing tools required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime as needed.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
