• Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

• Pay Range: $25 – $27 per hour + $1/hr shift differential

• Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST; Saturday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM EST

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Key Duties

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you’ll support the smooth operation of Pitney Bowes’ Presort Services facility by maintaining and repairing complex electromechanical equipment. Your day-to-day work will focus on:

• Troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems, mail sorters, printers, and PLC-driven machinery

• Performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on motors, sensors, relays, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive assemblies

• Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime

• Responding to emergency equipment failures quickly and effectively

• Using a tablet and work order systems to log maintenance activity and parts usage

• Maintaining spare parts inventory and ensuring equipment is serviced according to company and industry standards

• Supporting other facility operations as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2–6 years of direct hands-on experience with industrial mechanical and electrical equipment

• Familiarity with conveyor systems, PLC systems, and automated production equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

• Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and other testing equipment

• Comfortable with Windows-based applications for equipment operation and reporting

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under deadlines

Preferred Background:

• Prior experience at Pitney Bowes as a Maintenance Technician is strongly valued
