Key Duties

Houston Marriott is actively hiring skilled Maintenance, Facilities, and Engineering personnel to support multiple properties in the Houston area. Team members will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of hotel facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
• Responding to maintenance requests from staff and guests promptly and professionally.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment to maintain operational standards.
• Collaborating with engineering team members to plan and execute facility improvements or upgrades.
• Ensuring compliance with hotel safety, health, and building regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Certified AC Technician or equivalent experience in HVAC, facilities, or hotel engineering.
• Prior experience in hotel, commercial, or large facility maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible availability to work full-time or part-time shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
