Key Duties

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex hardware components and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product designers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software. Core responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing hardware components such as circuit boards, processors, and peripherals.

• Creating detailed schematics, design documentation, and layout drawings.

• Testing and troubleshooting hardware systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

• Collaborating with software engineers to ensure hardware-software compatibility.

• Researching emerging technologies and components to improve system performance and efficiency.

• Supporting manufacturing teams during production and providing technical guidance.

• Participating in design reviews and providing feedback for hardware improvements.

• Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in hardware design and development.

• Must hold or be able to obtain Secret security clearance.

• Proficiency with CAD tools and circuit simulation software.

• Experience with hardware design software such as Altium, Eagle, or OrCAD.

• Strong understanding of electronics, microprocessors, and embedded systems.

• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork capabilities.

• Preferred: experience with ground-based radars and systems engineering processes.
